OSSPEED R21 Euro 3 Combo Set The R21 Euro 3 Combo Set is a complete package for 1/8 on-road vehicles. The engine is supplied together with the TR03 tuned pipe (EFRA 2196) and the MR05 header, so the engine and exhaust system are perfectly matched right from the factory. The R21 Euro 3 is the next step in OS Engines' successful R21 series. It builds on proven components from the Euro 2 and R2106. Pistons and cylinder liners, combustion chamber, and carburetors have been newly developed, focusing on throttle response, thermal management, and reliability. The result is an engine that responds instantly and delivers consistent performance, run after run. Crankcase with ceramic bearings The engine uses the proven crankcase of the R21 Euro 2 with ceramic ball bearings. This ensures low friction, high revving capability and a long service life. R2105 crankshaft with tungsten weights The R2105's crankshaft has two tungsten counterweights (Ø 4.5 mm). They optimize the balance and ensure noticeably sharper throttle response when exiting corners. Newly developed piston & cylinder liner The cylinder liner features a newly developed design with excellent balance across the entire rev range. The piston is the same as that of the R2106, but has been specially treated to be more resistant to seizing. This translates to greater reserves when the engine is working hard. Combustion chamber with redesigned cooling fins The combustion chamber cooling fins have been redesigned for improved heat dissipation. This allows the engine to maintain a more stable operating temperature throughout the race. Cooling head with new laser logo The cooling head retains OS SPEED's typical black color, now with a redesigned laser-engraved logo. Carburetor 21M5(B) with dust protection ring The carburetor has a dust cover with a dust protection ring. This prevents fuel leakage and air from entering the fuel line, resulting in smoother and more predictable engine performance. Proven technology from the R2106 All other internal components are identical to the R2106. This means proven reliability and a good supply of spare parts.
